Meet our Pastor...Toby Larson is the founding pastor of Celebration Church. Toby was seminary educated at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, South Hamilton, MA. He received his M.Div. and Th.M. degrees in 1998. His post M.Div. Work was in biblical theology, namely in how the Old Testament connects with the New. Toby holds ordination credentials in the Convocation of Anglicans in North America (CANA).Prior to living in greater Washington DC, Toby served congregations in Charlotte, NC, and Abingdon, VA. Toby and his wife, Cynthia, lived in Beijing, China in the 1990s. They worked in television, radio, film, and business. They fell in love with the people, and return as often as they can. Toby also loves sport, especially playing tennis and skiing, and now watching his children play baseball. His wife, Cynthia, received her MATS in Missions and Evangelism from Gordon-Conwell in 1995. They have five young children, Acacia, Tolly, Lena, Clare, and Ethan. |
